JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to the Street and Property Unit in Säter Municipality! We are expanding the operations team and are looking for another dedicated colleague to join our team of 14 employees.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a safe, pleasant, and well-maintained outdoor environment for the municipality's residents and visitors. You will be an important part of community service and will work both independently and in a team with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's green and infrastructure environments.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of green areas such as:
• Lawn mowing, planting, pruning of trees and shrubs
• Spring and autumn cleaning, weed control
• Snow removal and ice control (winter preparedness)
• Maintenance of municipal playgrounds and bathing areas
• Cleaning of public areas and sweeping
• Forestry work on municipal land
• Road and street maintenance, including minor repairs
• Transport tasks within the municipality
• Simpler property services
• Case management and documentation in digital systems

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors year-round
• Training in outdoor environment maintenance
• Experience in practical work within parks, gardens, landscaping, property, or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (e.g., for case management and time reporting)
• Chainsaw license (AB or higher)
• Brush cutter license
• B/E driver's license
• Experience with/operating licenses for machines such as tractors, lawn mowers, loaders, or implement carriers
• Familiarity with winter road maintenance/snow removal
• Hot Work certificate
• Knowledge of playground inspections or bathing area maintenance
